Hrvatski Telekom d.d. (“Croatian Telekom plc”) is the leading provider of telecommunications services in Croatia and is a majority-owned subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom.
In its efforts to offer new digital technologies which would allow its users to provide new revenue and value-producing opportunities, Hrvatski Telekom decided to offer an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) intermediary services on the market.
Along with its daughter company Combis, Hrvatski Telekom hired Ingemark to develop their EDI platform. Ingemark, which had previously developed EDI platforms for some of the largest conglomerates in the region, had unrivaled experience in development of EDI platforms, and built the platform for Hrvatski Telekom from scratch using Java.
The service was rolled out by Hrvatski Telekom in February of 2019 and enables its users to achieve significant savings, speed up and automate business processes. While the service is still in its early days, the initial market reaction is overwhelmingly positive.
